According to The Block, the total market value of Ethereum-based tokenized RWA has surpassed $17 billion, representing nearly a 315% increase from approximately $4.1 billion this time last year. Ethereum currently accounts for about 34% of the total value of cross-chain RWA, solidifying its position as the leading blockchain for tokenized finance. Traditional financial institutions such as BlackRock and JPMorgan are bringing capital onto the blockchain. BlackRock’s tokenized Treasury fund, BUIDL, has become the flagship product in this category and recently enabled direct on-chain trading via UniswapX through partnerships with Securitize and Uniswap Labs. JPMorgan launched its first tokenized money market fund on Ethereum last December with an initial capital of $100 million. Standard Chartered estimates that the tokenized RWA market could reach $2 trillion by 2028, with the majority issued on Ethereum.
