Odaily Planet Daily reports that the Ethereum Foundation has announced that Protocol Cluster has published two articles conducting a systematic evaluation of the upcoming network upgrade, Hegotá. One of the articles, “Hegotá EIP Opinion Post and Tier List,” assesses and ranks the 62 EIPs currently proposed—marking the team’s first unified EIP rating list for a single network upgrade. Approximately 60 researchers, engineers, and domain experts from nine teams within Protocol Cluster participated in the review, submitting 397 rating opinions and engaging in discussions on contentious proposals. Current and future priorities for the Ethereum protocol layer include achieving quantum resistance for Ethereum L1 by December 2029. Protocol Cluster will host an AMA on September 16 at 14:00 UTC to discuss Hegotá EIP ratings and key protocol development priorities.
