In accordance with TechFlow, on December 4, the Ethereum Foundation (EF) is deepening its collaboration with educational institutions in Argentina. The University of Buenos Aires (UBA) established a research center for cryptography and distributed systems in early November, closely linked to the Ethereum Foundation ecosystem. Argentine software development company Lambda Class donated $1 million to the center, with $250,000 already allocated for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral scholarships. The center aims to integrate interdisciplinary research on blockchain and distributed systems, covering mathematics, computer science, and fintech. Additionally, Ethereum Foundation co-executive director Tomasz Stańczak confirmed that the foundation is advancing an educational program involving multiple universities in Argentina. Starting in 2026, students at Estación Buenos Aires school will receive Ethereum Foundation-certified blockchain technology credentials, including courses on smart contract development language Solidity.
