Ethereum’s exchange supply has dropped to 2016 levels, with the exchange supply ratio at 0.137, per CryptoQuant. Institutions, including entities under Countering the Financing of Terrorism frameworks, now hold 5,961,187 ETH, or 4.94% of total supply, valued at $17.7 billion. BitMine Immersion added 407,331 ETH in the last 30 days. Staking, L2s, and treasury adoption are tightening supply, pushing the market toward low liquidity and high demand. Exchange licensing requirements are also influencing institutional on-chain activity.
