Ethereum core developers confirmed trust payments will stay in the consensus layer for the Glamsterdam upgrade. The FOCIL feature was cut from the plan. The Fusaka upgrade went live on December 3, followed by a blob parameter hard fork on December 9. Network stability was reported. EIP 7688, 8061, and 8080 were reviewed. The Heka upgrade is set to begin planning in January 2026, possibly with a name change to match IAU standards.
