Ethereum core developers confirmed at the 171st consensus layer meeting that the Glamsterdam upgrade will retain trust payments as part of ePBS while removing the FOCIL feature. The Fusaka upgrade activated on mainnet December 3, followed by the blob parameter hard fork on December 9. Network operations remain stable. The consensus-driven upgrade continues Ethereum’s path of iterative improvements.
