The Ethereum Community Foundation called for full wallet address visibility after a 50 million USDT phishing attack. Attackers used addresses with matching first and last three characters to trick users. The foundation said truncating addresses with ellipses hides risks and urged platforms to display full blockchain addresses. It also pointed out that some UI choices in wallets and blockchain browsers create security issues that can be fixed. The incident highlights the need to understand what is at stake in blockchain transactions.
