Citing AiCoin, Ethereum supporter Anthony Sassano stated that the gas limit for Ethereum may increase to 3-5 times its current level by next year. Some core developers are discussing raising the gas limit from the current 60 million to a higher level. Sassano also proposed reducing the gas cost for native ETH transfers from 21,000 to 6,000, which would cut costs by over 70%. He and core developer Ben Adams are working on an Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) to be included in the planned 2026 Glamsterdam upgrade.
