Eric Trump, Executive VP of the Trump Organization, warned banks at Consensus 2025 that they risk extinction without embracing blockchain technology. He pointed to Bitcoin’s zero-fee, instant transfers as a major disruption to traditional finance. Banks must adopt blockchain technology to stay competitive and meet changing financial demands, he said.
