According to a post by the official ENS DAO account (@ENS_DAO) on July 31 (Beijing Time), Katherine Wu (katherine.eth), Chief Operating Officer of ENS Labs, has published an executable draft on the forum proposing the establishment of a full-time ENS Foundation governed by a board of five directors, authorized to manage an endowment fund, and allocating 1 million $ENS for employee compensation. Notably, unlike the previous interim draft, this revised proposal abandons the plan to transfer control of the DAO’s operational wallet to the new foundation. Token holders will retain control over the protocol itself, the ENS balances held by the DAO, the operational wallet, and the authority to appoint or remove foundation board members.
