Odaily Planet Daily reports that Musk stated SpaceX has completed a $40 billion GPU debt financing and affirmed that the company holds an investment-grade rating, with revenue from Starlink and rocket launch operations supporting the financing. According to related information, these GPUs are expected to be delivered in the first and second quarters of 2027.
Regarding AI infrastructure financing, Musk said that over the past few weeks, debt markets have nearly shut off financing for companies that do not generate substantial revenue outside of AI data centers. He predicted that only a few of the more than 200 new cloud providers will survive, leading to bankruptcies and consolidation in the industry. Musk also expressed concern that developers could lose financing before their data centers are completed, leaving expensive computing resources idle.
Elon Musk denied speculation that SpaceX might acquire the struggling new cloud service provider, stating that SpaceX would not acquire such companies. Others on social media asked whether Musk had also shorted CRWV, but this is merely speculation, with no evidence indicating that he shorted the stock.
