ChainThink reports that on August 13, after the release of Grok 4.6, Musk began teasing Grok 4.7, stating that the model will surpass "all existing models."
He stated that Grok 4.7 will benefit from SpaceX’s exclusive engineering training data on real-world engineering tasks and said he would be shocked if any model were stronger than Grok 4.7.
Prior to the release of Grok 4.5, Musk also previewed its performance in advance. The original text states that Grok 4.6 has now entered the top tier in several recent evaluations, outperforming GPT-5.6 Sol in certain programming and engineering tests.
Whether Grok 4.7 can achieve the aforementioned performance remains to be verified after its official release.
