ChainCatcher report: This week, the Salvadoran government added 1 additional bitcoin to its national bitcoin reserve, bringing the total holdings to 7,762 bitcoins. At a bitcoin price of approximately $77,000, this holding is valued at around $598 million. Since 2021, when El Salvador became the first country to adopt bitcoin as legal tender, it has consistently maintained a policy of purchasing 1 bitcoin daily.
