The EigenLayer Foundation has proposed a major update to its EIGEN token incentives system. The new model ties token rewards to network activity and fee generation. Participants securing AVS and boosting EigenCloud growth will receive token rewards. A new incentives committee will oversee token issuance. The token launch strategy is part of the broader governance proposal. The plan now awaits a community vote for final approval.
