BlockBeats report, May 2: The Ethereum Foundation released a recap of the Soldøgn Interop event. At the end of April 2026, over 100 Ethereum core developers participated in the Soldøgn interoperability event, focusing on the upcoming Glamsterdam network upgrade. The event achieved three core objectives: establishing a post-upgrade gas limit floor of 200M, enabling stable multi-client operation of ePBS (with support for external builders), and finalizing EIP-8037 gas re-pricing parameters. Progress was also made on optimizing block access lists and making decisions on multiple Glamsterdam EIPs, while laying the groundwork for future features such as Hegotá’s FOCIL and native account abstraction.
Through intensive coding, stress testing, and breakout discussions, the team has successfully built a stable devnet, resolved numerous cross-client edge cases, and optimized state growth control and execution efficiency, providing reliable data support for safely increasing throughput.
