According to The Block, brokerage infrastructure company DriveWealth has announced a partnership with Ripple to integrate Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin into its platform for cross-border settlement, stablecoin payments, and digital asset custody services. The collaboration will operate on the XRP Ledger, enabling clients to fund collateral accounts 24/7 and support near-real-time conversion of stablecoins into cash. The partnership will initially launch in Europe, followed by expansion to the United States, with both parties also exploring equity financing opportunities through Ripple Prime. This collaboration further advances RLUSD’s integration into institutional financial infrastructure, following Standard Chartered’s announcement this week of RLUSD custody services.
