Odaily Planet Daily reports that Haseeb Qureshi, Managing Partner at Dragonfly, stated in a recent Space that Hyperliquid has limited user overlap with centralized exchanges, attracting users who struggle to complete KYC or cannot access mainstream platforms as their primary trading gateway. Despite Hyperliquid’s growing market share, trading volumes on centralized exchanges have not declined accordingly, indicating that both are collectively expanding the market rather than merely competing for existing users.
Haseeb is optimistic about both the demand for pre-IPO stock trading and the performance of the crypto market over the next 6 to 12 months. He believes that by 2030, the boundaries of “crypto VC” will gradually blur, as crypto technology becomes integrated into fintech, digital banking, stablecoins, and consumer products. In the future, investment firms including Dragonfly will increasingly allocate capital to fintech, emerging technologies, and AI companies.
He emphasized that the core competitiveness of future investment institutions will no longer be merely familiarity with the crypto industry, but rather an understanding of the market, access to industry resources, and the ability to help entrepreneurs solve real-world problems.
