According to Cointelegraph, the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) updated its MiCA registry, adding Slovenia’s electronic money institution Dinaro to the list of issuers of Electronic Money Tokens (EMTs), making it the first such institution from Slovenia. Dinaro is regulated by the Bank of Slovenia, offers payment services, and holds a primary membership with Mastercard. The total number of registered EMTs is now 43, while the list of Asset-Referenced Tokens (ARTs) remains empty, and the list of non-compliant entities stands at 167. The list of Crypto-Asset Service Providers (CASPs) has been expanded with the addition of Czech Republic’s Partners Banka and Germany’s Volksbank Beilstein-Ilsfeld-Abstatt, bringing the total number of registered CASPs to 325, following the removal of the Czech company Altlift from the list.
