Deutsche Bank sees new token listings on the Robinhood Chain as a key revenue source for the retail brokerage. Launched on July 1, the blockchain has already processed over 150 million transactions and driven more than $12 billion in decentralized exchange volume. On-chain news shows daily fees hit $3.8 million to $4.5 million at peak times, with tokenized real-world assets reaching $70 million in value. Event contracts added $156 million in Q2 2026.

Deutsche Bank has flagged the Robinhood Chain as a meaningful new revenue driver for the retail brokerage, adding to a growing chorus of analysts who think the company’s blockchain bet could pay off faster than most expected.

The call comes roughly a month after Robinhood launched the public mainnet of its own Ethereum Layer-2 network on July 1, built on Arbitrum technology. In that short window, the chain has already racked up more than $12 billion in cumulative decentralized exchange volume and processed north of 150 million transactions.

The numbers behind the hype

At its peak, the Robinhood Chain saw daily DEX volumes exceed $800 million. That kind of throughput generates real fees: daily chain fees hit between $3.8 million and $4.5 million during the busiest stretches, implying a potential annualized run-rate above $100 million.

Actual fees collected so far sit closer to $10 million, a reminder that early blockchain activity tends to be driven by volatile memecoin trading rather than steady institutional flow.

Tokenized real-world assets on the network surged roughly fivefold after launch, reaching a market value of approximately $70 million. Deutsche Bank’s analysts identified the blockchain as a noteworthy revenue catalyst for Robinhood, complementing other newer product lines like event contracts, which pulled in $156 million in the second quarter of 2026.

What Robinhood actually built

The Robinhood Chain’s core pitch is enabling on-chain trading of tokenized stocks and ETFs alongside native DeFi functionality.

One of its flagship features is Robinhood Earn, a lending product offering around 7% APY through an integration with Morpho, a decentralized lending protocol. The chain also integrated automated market makers including Uniswap and Pleiades, giving it instant access to deep liquidity pools. About 10% of net protocol revenue from the chain flows back to the Arbitrum ecosystem.
