DeFi aggregator Odos will cease operations on July 30, according to on-chain news from AMBCrypto. The app will enter read-only mode on July 27, with no new accounts or wallets allowed. Users can still swap tokens until the full shutdown. The ODOS token and DAO will remain active. The team warns against DeFi exploit scams and confirms no further products or support will follow.

The company behind DeFi aggregator Odos will permanently wind down its operations this month. The protocol’s app is moving to read-only mode on July 27 before shutting down entirely on July 30.

In announcing the decision, the team stressed that Odos is a non-custodial platform, meaning users’ assets remain on-chain and under their control. It also clarified that the ODOS token and the Odos DAO will continue to exist independently of the operating company.

Odos sets July 30 shutdown date

According to the announcement, existing users can continue swapping tokens and closing positions until July 30. However, new account registrations, wallet creation, and new limit orders have already been disabled.

Between July 27 and 30, the application will enter read-only mode, allowing users to view transaction history and balances but preventing further activity.

After July 30, all Odos-operated services will permanently cease, with the company confirming there will be no further development, support or maintenance.

For users who created wallets using Odos’ social or email login, the team advised transferring assets to another wallet or exporting private keys before the shutdown date. It added that wallet access instructions will remain available through its official support page after operations end.

Company shutdown leaves token and DAO intact

While the operating company is closing, the team emphasized that the ODOS token will remain on-chain and that the shutdown will not affect its underlying mechanics.

It also noted that the Odos DAO operates independently from the company and will communicate its own plans separately.

The announcement further warned users not to expect any token migrations, new products, token claims, or airdrops.

“There will be NO new Odos products, token migrations, token claims, or airdrops from us,” the team said, warning that any direct messages, fake support accounts, or migration websites claiming otherwise should be treated as scams.

Users were also urged never to share seed phrases or sign transactions from websites claiming to facilitate an Odos migration or relaunch unless announced through the DAO’s official channels.

ODOS token declines after shutdown announcement

TradingView data showed the ODOS token trading around $0.00107 at press time, down approximately 5.5% over the previous 24 hours.

The decline came alongside elevated trading volumes as the market reacted to the shutdown announcement.

Despite the selling pressure, the token’s Relative Strength Index [RSI] remained near 51, indicating neutral momentum rather than oversold conditions.

Although the operating company is exiting, the announcement clearly distinguishes the business, the protocol’s governance structure, and the token itself, leaving future DAO decisions separate from the company’s wind-down.

Final Summary

  • The company behind Odos will move its app to read-only mode on July 27 before permanently shutting down services on July 30.
  • Odos said the ODOS token and DAO are separate from the operating company, while warning users that any migration offers, token claims, or airdrops are scams.
