According to an official post on Odos’s X account, the company operating the DeFi liquidity aggregation protocol Odos has announced the shutdown of its operations. The timeline is as follows: As of July 23, new account registrations, new wallet creations, and the new limit order feature have been disabled; existing users can still perform swaps and close positions normally. From July 27 to 30, the application switched to read-only mode, allowing users to view their transaction history and balances. On July 30, all Odos services will be permanently shut down. Odos is a non-custodial protocol, and user assets remain on-chain. Users who created wallets via social media accounts or email must complete asset transfers or export their private keys before July 30. Additionally, the ODOS token exists independently on-chain; the company’s shutdown does not affect its on-chain mechanics, and the Odos DAO will announce future plans separately.

The DeFi aggregator Odos has confirmed the permanent shutdown of its services, marking a significant on-chain event. New account registrations, wallet creations, and limit order functions will cease on July 23. From July 27 to 30, the app will enter read-only mode before fully shutting down. User assets remain on-chain, and ODOS token operations are unaffected. This decision follows a DeFi exploit that raised concerns about protocol security.
