ChainThink reports that on August 17, DeepSeek officially launched its new V4 pricing, charging peak rates for 7 hours per day and half-price for the remaining 17 hours. On the first day of the price increase, pricing diverged between domestic and international channels.
Among domestic channels, Alibaba Cloud and Tencent Cloud have synchronized the new pricing for DeepSeek; the peak and off-peak prices for the official versions of V4 Flash and V4 Pro are identical to those of the original manufacturer.
Huawei Cloud will adjust its pricing on August 20, introducing a self-defined day-night rate structure with a 30% discount at night. Volc Engine plans to increase prices on August 21, but today’s charges remain at the old rates. Kuaishou Wanjing and Baidu will continue to use their own pricing systems.
Kuaishou Wanjing V4 Flash currently inputs 1 yuan and outputs 2 yuan, below DeepSeek's off-peak pricing; Baidu Token Plan does not replicate the original manufacturer's peak-off-peak rates, and DeepSeek nighttime rates remain at 20% or higher.
On overseas platforms, OpenRouter, DeepInfra, RunInfra, GMI Cloud, and Novita continue to offer discounts or fixed low prices and have not fully adopted DeepSeek’s peak-valley pricing model.
OpenCode's pay-as-you-go plan has increased in price, while the subscription plan has reduced the monthly quota for V4 Flash single-model usage. Command Code, without changing the monthly fee or Credits, has shifted the price increase impact to the user's available request volume.
