HuoXing Finance reports that DeepSeek has unveiled the Creator mode of its AI workspace, Harness. Currently, Harness offers four modes: Standard, PTC, Minimalist, and Creator. The Creator mode enables users to directly instruct AI to develop plugins, modify software interfaces, and install them within Harness—all without writing any code. Users simply describe their requirements, and the AI examines Harness’s development APIs, writes the plugin code, completes installation, and verifies functionality. Installed plugins can be saved and reused in future sessions. Beyond adding new interfaces, users can also equip Agents with new tools to perform actions they originally couldn’t. For example, users can ask the AI to create a video editor with a timeline, a paper reader with highlighting and annotation features, a poster design tool, an interactive 3D model generator, or even transform the Harness interface into a pixel-game style. In an official demo, the AI built a floating tomato clock by writing over 600 lines of frontend code, completing installation and execution in just 5 minutes and 24 seconds. DeepSeek has also published the prompt templates for seven demo cases. Some outputs required multiple rounds of dialogue refinement and cannot be achieved with a single prompt.
