ChainCatcher report: Chinese AI company DeepSeek has unveiled a design aimed at enhancing the autonomy of AI coding assistants to reduce human intervention during the execution of multiple tasks. According to Sunday’s South China Morning Post, the proposal comes from a paper by DeepSeek Harness team, with the core objective of lowering the human effort required to coordinate and monitor multiple AI agents. The team noted that managing multiple agents consumes human attention, citing the paper’s statement that “the upper limit for single-task performance depends on model capability, while the upper limit for multi-task performance depends on human attention.” The paper also states that a single person can effectively supervise only 3 to 5 active AI agents simultaneously. The proposed system will distribute and coordinate tasks among agents, freeing humans to focus on reviewing outcomes and making decisions. This proposal emerges amid intense competition among AI developers, including U.S.-based companies Anthropic and OpenAI. Previously, Cointelegraph reported in October last year that, according to data from blockchain analytics platform CoinGlass, Chinese AI models have outperformed their U.S. counterparts in cryptocurrency trading; in one experiment, DeepSeek was the only AI model to achieve a 9.1% positive unrealized profit, while its development cost was only a fraction of that of its U.S. competitors.

DeepSeek has unveiled a new AI coding agent design aimed at reducing human oversight in multitasking, as noted in the daily market report. The system automates coordination between AI agents, enabling humans to focus on decision-making. The team referenced a study indicating that one person can effectively manage only 3 to 5 AI sessions simultaneously. This development coincides with growing interest in altcoins to watch, as Chinese AI models demonstrate strong performance in crypto trading. DeepSeek’s model achieved a 9.1% positive unrealized gain in an experiment, outperforming U.S. competitors at a lower cost.
