DeepSeek Open-Sources Huawei Ascend Infrastructure Components

[DeepSeek Open-Sources Huawei Ascend Foundation Components] Jinse Finance reported on September 30 that DeepSeek has officially open-sourced foundational components for the Huawei Ascend computing platform, including the TileLang high-level language compiler, compute libraries, and distributed communication libraries. All components directly correspond to the previously open-sourced components designed for NVIDIA platforms. The Ascend version of TileLang introduced in this release encapsulates Ascend C low-level instructions, provides a high-level programming interface, and maintains full hardware performance. This open-source release also includes core compute and communication components for the Ascend platform, offering reusable foundational capabilities for diverse use cases: DeepGEMM accelerates general matrix operations; DeepEP enables efficient large-scale cross-device communication; TileKernels provides standard vector computation and memory access operators for data processing; FlashMLA delivers sparse attention operators to enhance efficiency in long-context processing; and DeepSelect implements efficient data selection. In multiple key test cases, the computational and communication performance of these components has approached hardware limits.
