ChainThink reports that on July 23, according to Jin10, in leaked internal discussions from DeepSeek’s investor meeting, DeepSeek founder Liang Wenhong stated that the replacement of domestic AI chips is facing a historic opportunity, with no compatibility barriers between hardware and ecosystem; the primary issue currently is insufficient production capacity.
Liang Wenfeng stated that NVIDIA's CUDA ecosystem moat is rapidly eroding, and export controls and other factors have created a window of opportunity for domestic AI chips, with expectations that market perceptions of domestic chips being "unusable or difficult to use" will be reversed within a year.
He also revealed that DeepSeek has partnered with Huawei to secure 16,000 H950 chips to establish its ecosystem; Huawei’s H950 super nodes can fully replace NVIDIA’s GB200 and GB300 in both performance and pricing.
