DEBIT’s latest rally is primarily driven by Bithumb adding a KRW trading pair, while Teller’s continued expansion across AI finance, onchain lending, and multi-chain collateral provides additional fundamental support. Increased trading liquidity, a relatively low circulating supply, and elevated market activity have amplified the token’s short-term price volatility.

KuCoin Flash reports that, as of publication, the DEBIT/USDT spot pair is trading at 2.1495 USDT, up 32.74% over the past 24 hours. KuCoin recorded trading volume of approximately 1.47 million DEBIT, equivalent to about 2.50 million USDT. The token reached an intraday high of 2.5691 USDT and a low of 1.5724 USDT. At the current price, DEBIT remains approximately 36.69% above its 24-hour low and about 16.33% below the intraday high, highlighting a sharp increase in short-term trading activity.

Teller is an AI-powered financial platform that combines traditional credit products with onchain financial services. Through its AI agent, the platform provides functions including borrowing, swapping, bridging, and yield strategies. DEBIT is the native utility token of the Teller ecosystem and is designed to connect its AI-powered financial products with onchain services.

The latest rally has a clear event-driven catalyst. Bithumb announced on September 10 that Teller Finance (DEBIT) would be added to its Korean won (KRW) market, with support for the BNB Smart Chain network. Trading was scheduled to open at 15:00 local time, with a reference price of 2,151 KRW. Market data showed that DEBIT briefly reached around 1.91 USDT after the Bithumb listing news, gaining more than 12% within 15 minutes as traders reacted to the expansion of exchange liquidity.

Beyond the exchange listing, Teller has continued to expand its product and ecosystem infrastructure. On September 5, Teller announced the addition of EGG, MarsCoin, and Basecat as collateral assets, bringing the number of supported ERC-20 collateral assets to more than 100 across nine blockchain networks. Teller also disclosed that cumulative loan volume on the platform has exceeded $80 million since 2021. Its Debit AI product further supports natural-language execution of onchain transactions, swaps, borrowing, and lending, while MCP integrations connect the platform with AI applications and strengthen the broader AI-agent narrative surrounding DEBIT.

From a market perspective, CoinMarketCap analysis published on September 3 attributed DEBIT’s earlier rally mainly to speculative trading following the token launch and growing interest in the AI-agent narrative, with the volume-to-market-cap ratio reaching 8.43. Subsequent CoinMarketCap analysis noted that the long-term value of DEBIT will depend on whether Debit AI can generate sustained real-world users and usage. Current CoinMarketCap data shows approximately 17.22 million DEBIT in circulation out of a total supply of 100 million, implying a circulating ratio of about 17.22%. Market capitalization stands at approximately $30.7 million, with an FDV of about $178.4 million and 24-hour market-wide trading volume of roughly $230.1 million.

Overall, the addition of a KRW trading market on Bithumb is the most direct catalyst behind the latest DEBIT rally, while Teller’s continued expansion of collateral assets, lending activity, and Debit AI capabilities provides additional fundamental support for the narrative. The combination of newly expanded trading liquidity, a relatively low circulating supply, and elevated trading activity has further amplified short-term price volatility, leaving DEBIT in a high-volatility price-discovery phase.
