Odaily Planet Daily reports: CZ posted on X stating that he agrees with Spigg’s perspective on the sale of donated tokens by Giggle Academy, noting that Giggle Academy is not a crypto team but rather developing a free educational app, and managing cryptocurrency or token supply is not their expertise. Giggle Academy is unable to determine how many tokens to sell without affecting the price, how many to sell or retain monthly, and other related issues; therefore, they have chosen to regularly sell a majority of their token value to cover operational expenses.
Crypto projects should not donate large amounts of tokens to charities or other organizations in a way that could impact market prices and expect those recipients to manage the tokenomics themselves. The project team should be responsible for managing token supply. Previously, the project has provided BNB to Giggle Academy multiple times, and Giggle has sold or exchanged these BNB for fiat currency to cover operational expenses; neither BNB developers nor holders have raised objections, and the community takes pride in supporting educational initiatives.
CZ stated that regular donations will be welcomed, but he will not commit to any specific actions by Giggle Academy or himself, nor will he offer additional thanks or market engagement. The core of the donation should be to support Giggle Academy’s mission of providing free education to children worldwide, not to generate attention for the token. (CZ)
