ChainThink reports that on March 14, in response to the recent increase in Ethereum address poisoning attacks, CZ posted that block explorers should directly filter out such spam transactions rather than displaying them to users. He noted that these transactions can be easily and completely filtered out technically, and the wallet app Trust Wallet has already implemented a similar feature.
CZ also noted that while filtering out spam transactions may have some impact on micropayments between future AI agents, spam transaction detection and filtering can similarly be achieved through AI technology at that time.
Previously, the block explorer Etherscan warned that address poisoning attacks on Ethereum are becoming more automated and widespread, with attackers tricking users into sending funds to forged addresses that closely resemble legitimate ones.
