According to Forklog, cybersecurity experts have reported several major threats in the past week. Bitdefender Labs identified malicious campaigns using pirated versions of Battlefield 6 to steal cryptocurrency and authentication tokens. Ukrainian cyber police dismantled a Kyiv-based call center that defrauded over 30 EU citizens with fake crypto and stock investment schemes. Researchers also uncovered the Tsundere botnet, which uses Ethereum smart contracts to maintain attack infrastructure. Additionally, fake adult websites were found to distribute infostealers through fake Windows updates. Unit 42 reported the rise of hacker LLMs like WormGPT 4 and KawaiiGPT, which assist in generating ransomware and phishing attacks. Amazon Threat Intelligence warned that pro-government hacking groups are now using cyberattacks to support kinetic military strikes.
