ChainCatcher report: Xiaomi has officially launched the Xuanjie O3 chip. The new Xuanjie O3 is the world’s first flagship mobile processor (SoC) to support LPDDR6 memory. According to sources from the supply chain, CXMT, China’s leading memory manufacturer, is Xiaomi’s key partner for the LPDDR6 memory in the Xuanjie O3. In March, reports emerged that CXMT had already sent LPDDR6 samples to key customers, and multiple media outlets reported in early August that the product was nearing final validation. With its integration into the Xuanjie O3, this marks the first application of a domestically produced LPDDR6 chip on a flagship processor, signifying that China’s low-power memory technology has officially entered the global top tier.
