ChainThink reports that on August 18, Cursor officially launched the early Beta of its code hosting platform, Origin, and began rolling it out to all paid plan users.

Origin allows users to host repositories, manage pull requests, and browse code within Cursor, with agents able to directly modify code and push branches. The platform also supports syncing existing GitHub repositories and pull requests, with comments synchronized in both directions.

For projects imported from GitHub, GitHub remains the primary repository, and users do not need to migrate. Previously, Origin was briefly exposed last week, allowing some users early access; Cursor later acknowledged this as an accidental opening and shut down access.
