Cursor Cloud Agent now supports real Apple M5 Macs for each session, as reported by MetaEra. Namespace Devboxes power temporary macOS environments, enabling full code editing, compilation, and testing. Shifts in the Fear and Greed Index may influence which altcoins to watch, as developers gain improved tools for iOS and macOS projects. Namespace handles shell commands, file changes, Git, and testing, while Cursor manages AI tasks. Each Devbox is destroyed after the job completes.
ME AI News, Dongcha Beating AI Brief: Cursor has integrated Cloud Agents with Namespace Devboxes. Now, when running an Agent, you can directly select a macOS environment. Namespace temporarily spins up an Apple M5 Mac for each session, allowing the Agent to modify code, compile, and run tests on a real macOS system. This addresses a practical limitation of Cloud Agents: Cursor’s default cloud development environment has always been Ubuntu. While this works fine for web and backend development, it’s impossible to perform complete builds for iOS and native macOS development on Linux. Previously, members of the Cursor community had already asked when Cloud Agents would support Mac. This is not a Mac compatibility layer running on Linux. Cursor still handles model inference and task planning, while all actual shell commands, file modifications, Git operations, compilation, and testing are delegated to Namespace’s macOS DevBox. Once the task is complete, the DevBox is destroyed. (Source: BlockBeats)
