Spending on crypto payment cards reached a record $748.7 million in July, the fifth consecutive monthly increase, according to onchain analytics tracker Paymentscan.
July volume rose 19.1% from June's $628.7 million and 144.7% from $306 million a year earlier, per Paymentscan, which indexes card transactions across roughly 20 chains. Users made 8.77 million transactions from 158,857 active addresses, both records. February was the last down month; each month since March has set a new all-time high.
"Flows into stablecoin neobanks crossed $1B in July for the first time ever, with a record high of $748M in spend," Paymentscan wrote on X on Aug. 1. "The big three, @RedotPay, @KASTxyz, and @ether_fi, all posted double digit % growth."
The streak is one of the few crypto usage metrics setting records while trading volumes sink to multi-year lows, evidence that stablecoin-funded cards are finding everyday payments demand independent of market conditions.
RedotPay Takes Half
RedotPay processed $395.1 million in July, more than half of all tracked volume, per Paymentscan's card-level data as of Aug. 3. Ether.fi's Cash card followed at $100.3 million and KAST at $89.6 million, with Karta ($58.4 million), Wirex One ($25 million) and Tria ($16 million) rounding out the leaders.
The fastest growth came from smaller programs: Avalanche Card volume rose 71.8% month-over-month to $2.4 million, Plasma One grew 69.1% to $15.2 million, and Exa gained 52.7% to $2.3 million, per Paymentscan.
The sector also set a single-day record July 20 at $36.8 million, when KAST's $13.6 million topped RedotPay's daily volume for the first time amid a points promotion ahead of KAST's planned Q4 token generation event.
Cumulative deposits into crypto cards crossed $10 billion around July 1, up roughly 82% year-to-date. The growth has tracked expanding stablecoin access since the GENIUS Act became law in July 2025, putting card programs among the most direct bridges between onchain dollars and merchant payments.
