Cross River Bank has added Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin to its Core Operating System, allowing fintechs to make real-time cross-border payments via the XRP Ledger. The integration offers access to RLUSD through a single API, bypassing the need for blockchain infrastructure. RLUSD settles in 3–5 seconds and holds a market cap above $2.5 billion. XRP has shown technical indicators pointing to a potential rebound, with some altcoins to watch as the market reacts. Analysts are eyeing a possible move toward $1.40.

Cross River Bank announced Thursday that the bank is embedding Ripple's dollar-backed RLUSD stablecoin into the bank's Core Operating System. The integration supports transactions on the XRP Ledger. The integration lets fintechs access RLUSD payments, including real-time settlement and cross-border transactions, through a single API connection without building blockchain infrastructure.

RLUSD settles on the XRP Ledger in 3 to 5 seconds at a fraction of a cent. The XRP Ledger has processed more than $1.3 trillion in total value to date. RLUSD has a market capitalization of more than $2.5 billion. More than $1 billion of RLUSD has been issued on the XRP Ledger. RLUSD availability is currently limited to select US states.

Cross River Head of Fintech Banking Adam Goller said the integration lets fintechs move between U.S. dollars and RLUSD. Goller said fintechs can settle cross-border payments around the clock and access ACH, wires and real-time payments through one platform. RippleX SVP Markus Infanger said stablecoins will reshape payments by becoming part of banks' existing infrastructure rather than operating as a separate system.

XRP recovered to $1.33 after dipping to $1.28. The resulting long lower wick suggests buyers entered below $1.30. However, XRP still trades below the rising support line of its symmetrical triangle pattern. Recent lower highs and lower lows keep the near-term trend bearish.

Crypto analyst Ali Martinez said XRP has shown several TD Sequential buy signals near current levels, including a Sequential 13, a TD 9 and an Aggressive 13. Martinez said the signals together suggest a local bottom may be forming. Charts is watching for a rebound toward $1.40 if buyers step in, followed by resistance near $1.50.

The rebound has yet to reverse XRP's broader breakdown. Initial resistance stands around $1.35 to $1.38. A sustained move above $1.40 to $1.43 would bring XRP back toward its broken trendline and ease selling pressure. Immediate support stands at $1.28.
