ChainThink reports that on August 4, according to Bloomberg, AI cloud services company CoreWeave Inc. plans to enter the Asian market by building its first data centers in Indonesia.
CoreWeave stated in its announcement that it plans to build three new data centers outside the United States, all located in Indonesia, with a total capacity of 360 megawatts, expected to be operational by 2028.
The target customers for this project include laboratories, startups, and enterprise clients in Southeast Asia. The company stated it will invest billions of dollars but did not provide specific estimates.
