According to Galaxy Research, in the Coldcard wallet attack, the Wave 3 attackers have transferred approximately 45% of the stolen bitcoins. The funds were moved to Ethereum via THORChain or routed through CoinJoin transactions to increase tracing difficulty. Galaxy noted that the attacker previously created 293 two-of-two multisignature vaults to hold victim funds and transferred funds in descending order of amount; funds from the 11 largest vaults have now been withdrawn.
