According to ME News, on August 2 (UTC+8), Bitcoin News posted on X that although mnemonic phrases remain secure if generated via dice rolls or imported from existing phrases, multiple Coldcard features may still be vulnerable due to the Yasmarang PRNG flaw. Affected features include paper wallets, device cloning, USB sessions, Secret Teleport, multisignature keys, password generator, and HSM mode. While the mnemonic phrase itself remains secure if imported or generated through sufficient dice rolls, using these features may still expose secrets generated by the flawed random number generator.
