BlockBeats news: On January 6, according to community reports, an unknown bug occurred on the CoinMarketCap website, causing the market capitalization of the Meme coin BabyDoge to be calculated as 12.791 trillion U.S. dollars, ranking it at the top of the cryptocurrency market (Bitcoin's market cap is 187 billion U.S. dollars). The 24-hour price increase was erroneously recorded as 100,549,628%.


The Meme coin CHEEMS also experienced a bug at the same time. Due to the bug, the price of the coin was incorrectly displayed as $0.00103 (the actual price was $0.00000103), and its market capitalization was shown as $194 billion, surpassing USDT and XRP, temporarily ranking it fourth in the cryptocurrency market. The 24-hour price increase was erroneously recorded as 98,132%.
