Cognizant just leveled up its relationship with Anthropic, earning the title of Global Premier Partner in the Claude Partner Network. The IT services giant, which started rolling out Claude models to roughly 350,000 employees back in November 2025, is now positioned as the primary bridge between Anthropic’s AI capabilities and the enterprise clients who actually need them to work at scale.
From experiment to execution
The partnership isn’t just a press release handshake. Cognizant is embedding Claude’s capabilities, including Claude Code and agentic tooling, directly into its own specialized platforms. Those platforms include Flowsource, Neuro AI Engineering, and Neuro IT Ops, which serve clients across manufacturing, life sciences, insurance, financial services, and telecommunications.
The results so far are worth paying attention to. For a biopharmaceutical company, Cognizant built an agentic contract-intelligence system that cut review times by up to 40% while maintaining extraction accuracy above 88%. In insurance, a risk-navigation tool reduced underwriters’ weekly workloads by approximately eight hours. For a global manufacturer, Cognizant delivered an AI-enhanced customer experience portal in six months.

The workforce behind the technology
Over 30,000 Cognizant associates have already completed Claude training, with plans to expand that to a certified workforce of 40,000 professionals. Cognizant claims it holds the most Claude certifications globally.
Anthropic launched the Claude Partner Network in March 2026 with an initial investment of $100 million. The network was designed to create an ecosystem of service partners who could extend Claude’s reach into industries where Anthropic itself doesn’t have deep domain expertise.
