Over the past three months, Poke has processed over 100 million messages and serves hundreds of thousands of users. It is also the first third-party AI agent approved to integrate with Apple’s Messages for Business, allowing users to interact with it directly within iMessage. This marks Cognition’s second acquisition in three days. On July 20, the company acquired the TierZero team, which specializes in post-deployment automation for software, including proactive fault detection, incident response, and continuous system stability maintenance. These capabilities will be integrated into Devin to reduce engineers’ time spent on incident handling. Last year, Cognition also acquired the AI coding tool Windsurf.
