According to Tibo, Head of Core Products at OpenAI, the combined active users of Codex and ChatGPT Work have reached 6 million.

OpenAI has temporarily removed the 5-hour usage limit for Codex on Plus, Business, and Pro plans and has reset the quota once across the board.

Meanwhile, OpenAI is adjusting the usage calculation for GPT-5.6 Sol, with the new version reducing consumption for similar tasks; the specific reduction amount has not yet been disclosed.

According to reports, at the beginning of June, Codex's weekly active users surpassed 5 million, more than six times the number at the time of the desktop version's release in February; over a month later, the official figure had risen to 6 million.
