Odaily Planet Daily reports: Bitcoin News posted on X that publicly listed Bitcoin miner CleanSpark disclosed its September operational data: mining produced 529 BTC, sold 702 BTC—of which 700 were sold via exercised call options and 2 were sold directly on the spot market; the company holds 13,530 BTC, with an average operational hash rate of 36 EH/s and contracted power capacity of 1.8 GW. CleanSpark also disclosed that 3,475 BTC in its treasury are recorded as collateral for derivative trades or receivables.
CleanSpark has secured $2.276 billion in financing for the Sandersville data center expansion project, with related lease agreements expected to generate approximately $6.6 billion in contract revenue. CEO Matt Schultz stated that this financing will fully fund the project from construction through completion. As the company expands beyond bitcoin mining, it will discontinue monthly bitcoin mining updates and instead provide quarterly disclosures.
