ChainThink reports that on September 10, Bitcoin application layer Citrea tweeted that, after review, cross-chain transfers for ctUSD, USDC, USDT, WBTC, and CTR have been restored.
Solver-based routes (such as ctUSD to USDC swaps) are being gradually restored; full recovery may take longer. The Zentra team has identified the root cause and paused the contract to contain the incident; Citrea’s own protocol and cross-chain bridge contracts remain unaffected.
Citrea will also issue further guidance assessing the impact of this third-party security incident on the ecosystem, including next steps for ctUSD Earn Vault and affected depositors.
