Huo Xing Finance reports that as of June 26, nearly all major Chinese power semiconductor manufacturers have announced price increases for 2026. Yangjie Technology has declared a 10% to 15% price hike across its entire product line, effective July 1, marking its second price increase this year; Chongqing CR Micro, Silan Microelectronics, and NCE Power have also followed suit with price increases. Serenity notes that the driving force behind this round of price hikes has shifted from cost pressures to demand-side factors—AI data center construction, expansion of energy storage systems, and the growing adoption of new energy vehicles are collectively sustaining strong demand for power semiconductors. Serenity believes this trend sends a positive signal to the U.S. power semiconductor sector: tightening Chinese capacity will alleviate downward price pressure on similar U.S. products, and combined with continued demand validation and improved pricing power, U.S. power semiconductor companies such as Alpha & Omega Semiconductor (AOSL) and Power Integrations (POWI) are poised to benefit, with these advantages already emerging prior to the full adoption of 800V DC architectures. Additionally, upstream material suppliers for power semiconductors are also expected to benefit, including non-ferrous metals such as copper and tin, as well as related materials like molding compounds, chemicals, and packaging consumables, whose demand may rise in tandem.
Chinese power semiconductor firms raise prices again amid demand from AI data centers
MarsBitShare
On-chain data shows that Chinese power semiconductor firms raised prices again on June 26, 2026, with Yangjie Technology leading a 10% to 15% increase. Chongqing CR Micro, Silan Micro, and NCE Power followed suit. Rising demand from AI data centers, energy storage, and new energy vehicles is now the primary driver. Inflation data remains stable, supporting the sector’s upward trend. U.S. firms such as AOSL and POWI may benefit as China tightens capacity. Demand for upstream materials is also expected to increase.
