Chicago-based fintech firm Crypto Dispensers has launched the Bitcoin POP system, a regulated cash-to-bitcoin platform aiming to replace traditional crypto ATMs. Users can add cash to their Bitcoin balances through trained retail staff, with limits of $500 per transaction, $1,500 daily, and $5,000 monthly. Founder Firas Isa called the Bitcoin ATM industry a "black swan event waiting to happen." The new system offers a more controlled approach to what is often a high-risk segment of the crypto market.
