ChainOpera AI Accused of Copying Old Version of Open-Source Project Nofx

A developer of the open-source project Nofx, @Web3Tinkle, has accused ChainOpera AI of using its code without permission. The team claims ChainOpera AI deployed an old version of Nofx’s AI trading operating system one month later, keeping the branding, homepage text, and even altering the logo and UI. Despite attempts to contact ChainOpera AI via private message, no reply was received. ChainOpera AI raised $17 million in a seed round led by IDG Capital in December 2024. The incident may affect the fear and greed index among traders, as concerns grow over originality and trading volume in the AI-driven DeFi space.
