Caroline Pham, the acting chair of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), is set to join MoonPay as chief legal officer and chief administrative officer. She will lead the firm’s regulatory strategy in Washington as Mike Selig awaits confirmation as her successor. MoonPay, which holds a New York BitLicense and a trust charter, is expanding its role in crypto trading and stablecoin infrastructure.
