On December 25, the People's Bank of China held a press conference to outline the *Opinions on Financial Support for Accelerating the Construction of the Western Land-Sea New Passage*. Wang Xin, Director of the Research Bureau, noted the *Opinions* support provinces along the route in joining the multilateral CBDC bridge project, aiming to boost cross-border payments using central bank digital currencies. The initiative also promotes green finance cooperation through the China-Singapore Green Finance Working Group.
