Cash App now supports USDC stablecoin transfers on Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, and Arbitrum, according to on-chain news. Users can send and receive Circle-issued USDC without transfer fees, with funds automatically converted to USD. The feature is unavailable in New York and requires identity verification. Ethereum news highlights the growing integration of stablecoins across major blockchains. Transaction limits apply.

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Cash App, Block’s payment application, now supports users in sending and receiving USDC stablecoin issued by Circle on Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, and Arbitrum, with no transaction fees currently applied. Stablecoins received via Cash App are automatically converted into USD balances. This feature is not yet available to customers in New York State, and users must complete identity verification and are subject to transaction limits. Previously, Block focused primarily on Bitcoin, including developing mining hardware and the self-custody wallet BitKey; Jack Dorsey earlier this year stated that stablecoins represent “switching from one gatekeeper to another,” while acknowledging growing customer demand.
